The Chicago Cubs today announced remaining options to buy tickets for the 2011 season. In addition to offering a new Pick 13 Plan, the team will present the inaugural Six Pack Plan starting Friday, Feb. 11. The MasterCard Pre-Sale on Feb. 23 will be fans' first chance to purchase tickets for individual games prior to the General On-Sale on Feb. 25.
"We're pleased to announce a lineup of ticket offerings that allows fans to choose an option that best meets their needs," said Colin Faulkner, vice president of ticket sales and service, Chicago Cubs. "Fans can lock in tickets to the hottest games of the season through the Pick 13 Plan and inaugural Six Pack Plan. The MasterCard Pre-Sale provides an opportunity for fans to target their must-have individual dates before the General On-Sale date and event at Wrigley Field."
The remaining 2011 Chicago Cubs ticket offerings follow (all times listed below are Central Time):
NEW PICK 13 PLAN:
One additional Pick 13 Plan will be available to fans at 10 a.m. today, featuring the Saturday, June 18 game vs. the New York Yankees and the Sunday, Aug. 21 game vs. the St. Louis Cardinals. The plan is available in both the regular seating bowl (Upper Deck Box, Terrace Reserved and Upper Deck Reserved) and the Bud Light Bleachers. The Pick 13 Plan offers fans their best chance to purchase tickets for some of the most sought after games on the 2011 schedule, including match-ups with the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals.
INAUGURAL SIX PACK PLAN:
The inaugural Six Pack Plan offers a choice of 10 different pre-selected six-game plans. The Six Pack Plan starts at just $97 per plan (before 12 percent amusement tax and delivery fees), giving families a chance to enjoy baseball at Wrigley Field throughout the 2011 season.
The Six Pack Plan goes on sale on Friday, Feb. 11 at noon exclusively at www.cubs.com.
The Cubs will again offer the MasterCard Pre-Sale Wednesday, Feb. 23 at noon through Thursday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. Fans can purchase individual game tickets in advance of the General On-Sale Date at a 20 percent premium, or a 15 percent premium for fans using a MasterCard. SINGLE GAME GENERAL ON-SALE:
Single game tickets will be available for purchase Friday, Feb. 25 in the following methods. Please note the new wristband process at the Wrigley Field Box Office:
At the Wrigley Field Box Office: Tickets will go on sale at 8:00 a.m. and a random wristband system will be used. These wristbands can be picked up at Wrigley Field Monday (Presidents Day) and Tuesday, Feb. 21-22, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. This year, the winning numbers will be chosen two days in advance of the on-sale date so fans can plan to be at Wrigley Field for Friday's General On-Sale event. Winning numbers will be announced on WGN Radio (720 AM) and www.cubs.com Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 8 a.m. Winners of the wristband drawing will be able to purchase individual game tickets in person at Wrigley Field that Friday starting at 8 a.m., two hours before online and phone purchases begin.
There is a limit of one wristband per person. Fans will be required to show two forms of identification, one of which needs to be a valid government issued photo ID. The wristbands will only be used at Wrigley Field on Friday, Feb. 25.
Via the Internet: Visitors to www.cubs.com can purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m. A virtual waiting room will be used for all Internet orders. The virtual waiting room will begin accepting customers Friday, Feb. 25 at 9:30 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., customers will be randomly selected from the virtual waiting room to begin purchasing tickets. All Internet customers will need a valid cubs.com account. The team recommends customers sign up for an account prior to Feb. 25.
By Telephone: Tickets can be purchased by telephone beginning at 10 a.m. Illinois residents can call Tickets.com by dialing 800-The-Cubs (800-843-2827). The phone number for out-of-state callers is 866-652-2827.
